ReplyDeleteA month ago my elementary school age boys found a red-eared slider at a local creek. She is now happily grazing on insects, and reptile food from the pet store, in our backyard.
She'll quickly swim across her personal wading pool when she sees I have food, and gives me that same look when I'm empty handed.
