We Stand Tall

Old Scientology promotional video featuring RTC executives, including David Miscavige in a weird sweater.

Where are they now?

Check out the strong jawed figure at 26 seconds.

It's a younger Mike Adams aka "the Health Ranger"!

Per Smurf at whyweprotest.com: "Yup, it's the same crackpot. I met with Mike several times in the past.. he was convinced HIV/AIDS could be cured by vitamins & purified water."

Lulz, Mike Adams is probably an OSA (Office of Special Affairs) agent or hired hand.

    Chez Steve Novella, you wrote

What do you think about chiropractors claiming to specialize in neurology?.

This is a topic I have been vexed by for some time. The chiropractors are preying on the most vulnerable -- parents of children with autism or with learning disabilities.

One of the manifestations of chiropractic neurology is a chain of franchises, "Brain Balance Centers", Robert Melillo's monetization of his brand of chiroquackery. Emily Willingham (an autism parent) discusses Brain Balance. Harriet Hall has an article on Brain Balance at Science-Based Medicine. Steven Novella discusses Brain Balance at Neurologica.

However, to the best of my knowledge, a bigger picture has not yet been addressed: the chiropractic neurologists are claiming to be the professional equals of MD neurologists. I've had some correspondence with Harriet Hall about this issue.

If you would like to discuss this more, especially with a view to getting some blog posts published, please feel free to email me.
